Southeast Toyota Finance and World Omni Financial Corp. Launch Self
Service Web Sites for Motor Vehicle Finance and Lease Customers
Deerfield Beach, Florida (April 2009) - Southeast Toyota Finance and World Omni Financial
Corp. (World Omni) today announced the launch of its new consumer Web sites, http://www.setf.com/
and http://www.myworldomni.com/.
Through these sites, customers can more easily service their vehicle finance accounts
online. They can also:
- View statements
- Pay bills
- Obtain a payoff quote
- Learn about the end-of-lease process, including scheduling an inspection
- Extend payments for up to two months
Additionally, customers can now go green and select "paperless" statement options.
They can elect to receive emails advising them when their statements are ready for
viewing instead of them mailed.
The sites not only give customers 24-hour access to their account information, they
also save the company money by shifting tasks from call centers to the self-service
environment of the Web. Call center associates may now focus on handling more complex
customer questions and transactions.
"We are pleased with the early results and metrics from our new Web sites," said
Charles Gordon, vice president, portfolio management office, World Omni. "It is
not only easier for our customers to do business with us, but we have been able
to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in our call centers. Since the launch we
have seen the number of payments made online almost double – and that is one key
measurement of success."
Both sites were developed and are hosted by ChannelNet (www.channelnet.com),
the leading provider of multi-channel solutions for the automotive and financial
services industries.
"The real value of self-service on the Web for the financial services industry is
customer retention," said Paula Tompkins, ChannelNet CEO and Founder. "Our solution
for Southeast Toyota Finance and World Omni works to draw customers in and build
loyalty. Targeted promotions and offers prompt customer action and help generate
repeat business."
